6-a-side Tournament 

Sunday 20th Of Feburary from 2:00pm  to 4:00pm at Westminster Sports Park

We are running a 6-a-side tournament on Sunday 20th Feburary - starts at 2pm for men and women.

Everyone is welcome, come on down and have a go! We have plenty of kit if you fancy a try. 

Note: mouthguards must be worn.

NZ Women's Lacrosse Development Squad - recruiting NOW!

The NZ Women's Lacrosse Association is putting together a Development Squad in readiness for their World Cup Campaign in 2011. All players are welcome to attend training session on 6 / 7 November to be part of the Development Squad.

See NZ Lacrosse website for more details on who to contact and where to go! If you are interested but can't make it to Auckland for that weekend, don't worry - there will be several training weekends. Just email us to express your interest and someone will be in touch very soon to get your details. 

No previous playing experience necessary, so if you are interested in getting into the game and fancy your chances of making a NZ Squad, get in touch!

Funraising Specialist:  The CLA needs help putting together applications for grants. Previous experience required. Please contact us if you are interested in this role.

The Canterbury Roar Lacrosse Club is now accepting registration for mens, womens and junior teams. Canterbury is looking to enter 3 teams in the Nationals this year, mens, womens and boys to be held in Hamilton at the end of January 2011. Sign up now! Season Opener is set for Sunday Sept 12th. Venue to be confirmed.

Weekly Lacrosse clinics being held at Canterbury Uni on Sundays 3-5pm.

Canterbury Lacrosse AGM was held in May at Paparoa Street School - new officers elected.
